Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo and one half of the Barrel Brothers has released another solo album, Music For My Friends. This album, he explains, is a reflection of how Skyzoo and his friends grew up. He draws concepts from actual stories, emotions, and experiences as a teenager. On the song “Luxury”, Skyzoo had an idea of how he wanted the beat to sound, but wasn’t satisfied with the end result from multiple producers. He called !llmind to sit with him and guide Sky through the process while Sky used the production equipment for the first time ever.
