Florida hip hopper MyVerse performed a set at the 38th Rock Steady Anniversary show and visited RIOC to recap the events as well as discuss her upcoming projects. With two mixtapes under her belt, MyVerse recently released her official debut album, State Of The Art. Already having three music videos available to watch online, she calls the sound “Evolutionary, experimental, feel-good beats”. MyVerse is also releasing a self-titled group project called Heresy, alongside Monie Love, Carolina Dirty, and Dominique LaRue. The production is handled by J. Rawls and Mista Lawnge (Black Sheep) and will be available on August 14, 2015. In addition to music, MyVerse is a fierce competitor in the rap battle community with a current undefeated record of 5-0.
