West coast artists Lyric Jones and Planet Asia visited DJ Eclipse on RIOC to talk about their latest music projects. Originally from the east coast, Lyric talks about moving to LA without knowing the Hip Hop community until Rah Digga added her to a show to meet good company like TriState and Planet Asia. She is currently recording a new album as a follow up to GEMS From The Cubicle EP from Fall 2015. Planet Asia talks a little bit of his history, working at Amoeba Records and saving money to press his vinyl records, as well as some of his first singles on Stones Throw Records.
